Did y'all see the bit on last week's show where Colbert had Iran's Prez, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, endorsing Streit's Matzah?  Well, it was all too familiar for me as my company, Udi's Granola, has been running an ad campaign in HEEB Magazine for the past year where Ahmadinejad says "Israeli-born Udi Baron makes a granola so delicious that nobody can say no." There is more about this posted on HEEB Magazine's blog along with pictures of the similar ad campaigns:

So, Stephen and your writers, I'm putting you on notice!  Fess up to borrowing this idea from Udi's Granola or at least mention us on air!  Besides, Udi's Granola had negotiated exclusive advertising rights to use of Ahmadinejad's image in North America and now we are going to have to go after our friends at Streit's Matzah (and fellow MOT's).

You got it wrong guys and I expect a retraction! I love my Udi’s Granola (I won’t tell you which flavor) but I HATE those dry 3,000 years old Egyptian crackers and I know how to hate! So Stephen, if you don’t want me to deny your existence you’ll better shape up and tell the world what I like and what I hate.

Inshallah, your friend

C'mon Stephen-admit it-you love granola, birkenstocks and the Grateful Dead!

Let your freak flag fly and give praise to Udi's granola.

Actually, the "I believe divorce is between a man and a woman, so in my eyes, those lesbians are still married" joke from a while back (prop 8 stuff) was originally printed as a readers letter in Viz magazine about a year ago.

Colbert,
You owe these hard-working Americans an ON-AIR APOLOGY for defaming

their fine family names & American-made products with the butt-ugly face

of Ahmadinejad.

I thought (even) you were above this kind of gutter humor.
You’re ON NOTICE my friend!

Looks like Colbert is running out of fresh ideas and turning to his favorite breakfast cereal for inspiration/material…?
