Listen up- as a Daughter of the American Revolution- I was brought up to believe that we all had a vote and a voice in our government. Grew up watching John Wayne beat up on the bad guys whether they were Indians or Nazis and figured 'it was the American Way". Protested for Green Peace and Whales, War in Viet Nam as a teenager. A regular Yankee Doodle. My views have changed dramatically in the last several months. I know now first hand that there is no free speech and our constitutional rights are just a bunch of words written on parchment which only grants us with a process but not with justice or equality. Only if you're rich can you "buy" justice. My fiance has worked for the government in this country for 22 years. He came here 28 years ago and attended our universities aquiring 2 degrees with honors. Served in the US military for 3 years and was discharged hnorably after doing so. And became a US citizen. He uncovered corruption within the dept that he worked for and brought it to the attention of his supervisors for which he was fired. We are talkng insurance fraud to the tune of 2.5 billion dollars and pork projects any where from 11 million dollars and up. Due to his whistle blowing not only is he out of work but he is having his US citizenship taken away and has received a letter from the US Dept of Justice saying that he has 3 weeks to get his affairs in order and he will be kicked out. If he doesn't he will be arrested. I cry alot. Not only for him, for me, for the other loses that we will suffer but that I have found out that everything that I was tought and brought up believing in is the US is a lie.

You just figured that out over the past few months? Are your feelings true or is this just another band wagon you're hopping on? Real change will come at the business end of a gun. Better hope you still have access to guns.

What, that aint no change at all, since when have the deluded tried anything but violence, no change there same old story. Naw man, real change comes with an open hand, an open heart and an open mind. The real conflict is already in play, it is not between Lou and the immigints, it is between those that a courageous with their love, and those that are violent in their fear. Which side are you on?
