So I boiled all ethical/moral systems down to two basic rules. Rule number one (it should be familiar to most people)- Do unto others as you would have them do unto yourself. Rule number two- Don't be a dick. Rule number two is a necessary modifier for rule number one, as you can live by rule number one and still be a complete a-hole. In so much as you can think "Well if somebody did that to me I'd do this to them." I myself catch myself in violation of rule number two on a regular basis, as it is easy to violate rule number two when someone else is violating it against you. Anyway, discuss/ignore amongst yourselves.
