I must admit, although my entire generation has welcomed the tech with open arms... I hate them.

I'm curious as to cell phone laws as well.

Since its broadcast on a signal, do you even need a warrant to listen to conversation?

I pick up conversations on my wireless home phone constantly.

Seems like everyone has a cell phone, and most would be completely lost without them.

"Oh its for emergencies! Like what happens if my car dies and I need help?"

I dunno.... good samaritans?

"I can get a hold of my kid or spouse anywhere!"

So can everyone else...

And texting...

If you sit in the middle of the room and text to the person across from you about the fat dude sitting on the couch next to you.... I hope you contract finger herpes.

Sure, they're not going away... but damnit if they aren't the most rude technology out there.

Aside from the fact its a giant neon HERE I AM sign, I hope to never have a digital ball and chain.

(My family is constantly after me to get one, so is work.... and my girlfriend? Its her wet dream.)

What if the aliens come and they cut all the cables, and you have no idea what's going on, but you can't call anyone because your landline is not working. But you were so stubborn to not want to get a cellphone so now you have no idea whats going on. Good thing guns are legal then, imagine not having a gun, but the aliens are attacking the country, then you can't even fight back.

But you still have no idea whats going on, i bet you then would like to have a cellphone right?

And what happens if your car dies and you need help? I mean if you live in Japan or Europe that might not be much of a concern, but you are talking about america, where it isn't that unrealistic to be concerned about that.

don't worry.

annoying people who bring their cell phones everywhere are poisoning their bodies (especially reproductive organs) with the signal. Be it bluetooth or just basic self phone reception signal. they'll die soon enough. or at least form a new less intelligent off bread of humans. or just cost us more medical bills.
